BUILDING BLOCKS SOLUTIONS WORK WITH CNCS TO OPERATE
A NEW GP SURGERY IN KIRKBY
|
We are proud to announce
CNCS (Central Notts Clinical Services) have been awarded a
contract to run a new NHS GP Surgery in Ashfield, by the Notts
teaching Primary Care Team. Building Blocks are delighted
to be partners in this scheme providing social care and community
engagement services to patients.
Ashfield was ranked third
worst nationally for having the least number of family doctors
per head of population, and indicators of health for people
living in the area are worse than the national average. As
part of the fairness in primary care procurement this new
primary care centre has been opened in Ashfield.
The new GP Surgery is called
Kirkby Community Primary Care Centre (KCPCC) and is based
in the Ashfield Health Village (The old community hospital)
on Portland Street. The surgery is open from 8am til 8pm during
the week and on Saturday mornings. The Surgery is able to
offer a wide range of services including, midwifery, foot
care, health & lifestyle advice, support with practical
issues that impact on a persons emotional & mental well
being. Patients will also be able to access a minor ops theatre,
X ray and Physiotherapy on site.
Anybody who lives in Kirkby-in-Ashfield,
