SERVICE USER PARTICIPATION & EMPOWERMENT


SUPE (Service User Participation & Empowerment) is a Framework Housing Association scheme which is independently facilitated by workers from Building Blocks Solutions. It is open to all Framework Housing Associations clients.

Framework Housing Association is Nottinghamshire's largest homelessness charity. They provide emergency and supported accommodation, move-on support, women-only houses and day centre services.

It's a chance for all Framework clients to have their voice heard about the services they receive. SUPE acts as an empowerment scheme for all clients and enables them to take part in the decision making processes of Framework Housing Association. Our experienced advocate worker is able to act as a mediator between the clients and Framework, thus encouraging service users and workers to maintain a positive, productive and diplomatic manner.

Support for the SUPE scheme starts from the Framework Board and Senior Managers. Framework hopes that by having SUPE their clients can feel more able to have their voice heard, have opportunities to be involved in decision making that affects services and enable them to be more in control of services available.
